What's so special about this tea?

This tea originates from Wawee Mountain in the Mae Suai district of Chiang Rai province, Thailand. It grows at altitudes between 900 and 1,100 meters above sea level and is harvested from wild trees that are between 400 and 900 years old. The tea is picked at the end of April.

The recipe for this tea belongs to the second generation of a family that owns some of the finest old-growth tea tree gardens in the region, making them a local authority. The father, a highly respected tea master both in Thailand and abroad, is proud to contribute to the preservation of wild tea trees, considered a national treasure and a legacy for future generations.

The quality and skill are evident in every cup. Dry, the numerous leaves are covered in a fine layer of white fuzz. The liquor has a dense texture that fills the palate. Wet leaves release aromas of honey, mango, calendula blossom, apple compote, ricotta, and wood. On the palate, each new infusion reveals increasingly complex nuances, with notes of honey, warm wood, orange peel, and cedar incense. The aftertaste is long and sweet, with a bitterness that adds complexity to the tea.

This is a tea that deserves to be appreciated with care, as it guarantees a positive experience for both mind and body.
