What's so special about this tea?

This Dancong Mi Lan Xiang Oolong tea comes from the Fenghuang region of Guangdong, China, a renowned area for Dancong teas. Mi Lan Xiang is probably the most popular variety within this family of teas. It is hand-picked, with careful selection of the bud and the first two leaves, and comes from a plantation located 600 meters above sea level.

The dried leaves are dark, with yellowish hues and twisted. Their oxidation level reaches 40% and they have been machine-roasted twice, with a month of rest between the two roastings, a process that reinforces their character and aromatic complexity.

It displays a defined profile, with aromas of opulent flowers, fruit, mineral nuances, and a delicate hint of freshly baked cake. The infusion is golden yellow, clean and bright, with a dense texture that envelops the palate. On the palate, notes of yellow peach, grapefruit, flowers, raw almond, and syrup stand out, all blending elegantly.

We recommend preparing it in a clay teapot or gaiwan to enjoy it to the fullest.
